August 27-2019, The meeting of Board of Directors of Citizen bank International has proposed 3% bonus and 12% cash as dividend from the net profit it has earned in the last fiscal year 2075-76.

The decision is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and upcoming annual general meting of the bank. Citizen Bank International is the first one to declare dividend position of this year and there are 28 commercial banks in operation.

HIDCL, Power China to build 762MW Tamor reservoir project

Kathmandu, September 16- The Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Ltd (HIDCL) and state-owned Power China Corporation have jointly submitted a project development proposal at the Investment Board Nepal (IBN) to build the 762-megawatt Tamor reservoir project, which will cover Panchthar, Taplejung, Terhathum and Sankhuwasabha districts.
